Hungover from demon-strength sedatives is most likely not his best idea… and yet, with everything else going on it seems small. He is already so overwhelmed with every bit of new information he receives that the added illness of it all on top is a new level of a slap in the face.

He is unperturbed by the possible flaws in his plans, though. In his mind he is still perfectly capable of defending himself if need be, even unarmed against the plants they had somewhat raised together. Beyond that, he simply wanted some quiet time to himself where he isn’t accompanied by someone trying to take care of him or otherwise introduce more noise in to his already too loud inner thoughts.

Ruminating on it all is making the constant mental buzz all the worse, and so he wants to quiet it, at least for a while.

“With any luck at all, yes.” No he will not drop the opportunity to be petty, this is Hiei. If anything he’s surprised there isn’t more fuss that he is attempting to leave of his own power, stepping down fully in to the grass.

“Don’t wait around for me.”

… As if that was ever going to happen.
